What do literature and image have in common? This is the question I ask myself when I am trying to collect a story from my life. In this way, I seek to give them an image that is on the one hand intimate and personal, on the other hand universal and all-human.

Portraits

When I photograph people I think, for a second, that I can capture the mystery of their individuality without giving it an everyday banality. Sometimes I doubt that I will succeed. But this uncertainty is driving me forward.

Books

When a story is ready to be completed, it requires framing. And as a storyteller, I can imagine stories framed into the pages of a book as a matter of course.
